By its definition, a developed country must have both a highly developed economy,

as well as technologically advanced infastructure. Uganda dosn't currently have,

and never has had either of these characteristics. As well as this, corruption is a major issue, with the country rwecieving a 2.4 (of 10) rating by Transparency International.

This problem was also recently highlihted by the huge social media campaign to stop Joseph Kony, a Ugandan i warlord who infamously abducted kids to be part of his military.
